EAA and Team Assistance

The EAA Team Assistance Program (TAP) is centered on the idea of providing EAA members with fund-raising programs that allow them to earn monetary credit directly for their swim program and/or indirectly for themselves when a given swim program has fund-raising requirements.

General Team/Organization Support

Swim organizations may choose from one or more fund-raisers where their participants earn monetary credits. EAA tracks the money raised for each organization and, in most fund-raising programs, by participant.

On a regular cycle, EAA makes contributions to the appropriate swim organizations based on the earnings level of the participants. The organization receiving the contributions determines how and for what purpose(s) the monetary credits will be used and/or applied.

Team-Focused Assistance

EAA can assist teams or organizations with specific fund-raising events that are targeted to raise money for a specific project or team need.

Participant-Focused Assistance

EAA offers several Scholarship/Grant programs (specific criteria must be met) and a Credit Earnings program that look to address a varying range of needs across all levels of swimming.  Below is a summary of the offerings:

Age-Group Scholarship

This is an EAA sponsored program to provide youth and families with the ability to participate in swim programs where the costs of the program are beyond the ability of the family to pay.  This program provides up to a maximum of MATCHING scholarship funds provided by the swim club or organization, is limited to EAA fund availability and is operated on a First-Come, First-Serve basis.  See Age-Group Scholarship Application on the Forms & Information web page.

College Scholarship

This is an EAA sponsored program to provide current or entering college-level swimmers with the opportunity to be awarded a monetary cash grant.  This offering is currently under development and is not available at this time.

Credit Earning Program

This program provides families the means to participate in EAA fund-raisers in addition to the ones their individual clubs or organizations might utilize. Credits earned in EAA fund-raisers can be used to help meet their individual team commitments.
