Purpose of EAA...

The purpose for which Elgin Aquatics Association (IRS 501c3) is organized is to support competitive swim team organizations with fund-raising programs. The swim organizations may be affiliated with, but not exclusively limited to any of the following organizations: USA Swimming, Illinois Swimming Inc, YMCA Swimming, NCAA Swimming or any other sanctioned or non-sanctioned swim affiliation.

Program Overview...

EAA allows individuals and/or swim organizations to participate in various fund-raising projects to earn credits that can be used to fund special team projects, to supplement general operational expenditures, to supplement individual team fund-raising commitments, and/or to provide scholarship grants or credits.

Important Note Concerning EAA Participation and Funds Raised...

All funds collected via EAA sponsored fund-raising projects are raised in the name of Elgin Aquatics Association (EAA).  At no time should any organization or an individual participating in EAA sponsored fund-raisers assume otherwise.

EAA makes contributions to each swim organization based on the participation level in EAA sponsored fund-raising projects by swim organizations and/or the participation level of the individuals associated with swim organizations.

Prior to or upon receipt of EAA contributions, the swim organization that receives the contribution determines how that contribution will be used to support the swim organization.
